Shak drew two cards while Matusow decided to keep the five he was dealt. Matusow then bet before the second and final draw, staying pat the whole way.
Shak check-called and drew one card both times. After the final draw, Shak checked once more and Matusow fired in another bet. Shak quickly let his hand go, whereafter Matusow showed 7?5?3?2?A? for a seven-low and the second-best badugi.
