The pocket sevens of Gabriel Nobrega were all but mucked when he left his chair and grabbed all his belongings. His chips moved one spot to the right and Matthew Fergenbaum collected them. Fergenbaum's Q?Q? had been ahead all the way on a board of A?10?5?A?3? and the last 15,000 or so of Nobrega found a new owner.

Rob Mariano raised to 1,500 from the cutoff and Konstantinos Nanos called from the small blind before Hermilo Fernandez made it 5,600 from the big blind. Mariano ducked out of the way and Nanos called to see a flop.
The flop was J?5?K? with no love for Nanos and he check-folded to a 2,000 bet.
Despite the sunk cost on that hand, Mariano has been cooking since his early setback.

A larger pot emerged between Nacho Barbero on the button and Christian Roberts in the big blind. They were on the Q?7?6?Q?10? river on which Roberts had checked and Barbero bet 25,500.
The check-shove of Roberts followed and Barbero was outright disgusted, then bemoaned the situation and mulled it over. Nearly one minute later, he called it off and Roberts tabled the Q?10? for a full house.
Barbero briefly flashed his cards for what appeared to be a flopped set and inferior full house.
"You run so bad against me," Roberts declared while Barbero quickly left the crime scene.

Picking up the action on the J?10?9? flop, Natasha Mercier check-raised a bet of 1,400 by Jonathan Moritz and then called all-in when her opponent jammed.
Natasha Mercier: Q?10?
Jonathan Moritz: J?8?
"I really like your hand," Mercier said with a smile on the face. The 7? turn and K? river runout gave Mercier running cards to a flush and she doubled.
"Now not anymore," Moritz replied.

Millionaire Maker final tablist Maxime Parys was all in against the always rambunctious Steven Buckner.
Maxime Parys: 10?10?
Steve Buckner: 10?10?
The two players had the same hand but the 2?K?3? flop had "Cuz" freerolling with a flush draw. "Oh, I've got the spade draw!" he cheered. "How 'bout putting a spade out there?"
The dealer then put down the J? turn to have Parys drawing dead. "Spade, right there! Goodnight!" roared Buckner as the tournament room burst into spontaneous applause. "You're all playing for second!"
The 4? river didn't change anything and Buckner wished his opponent well as he hit the rail.

Alan Casuo raised to 1,200 from middle position and Daniel Negreanu called from the big blind.
The flop was K?9?6? and Negreanu check-called again when Casuo bet 1,200.
Negreanu checked again on the 2? turn and called a bet of 4,500. The river was 4?.
After Negreanu checked for a third time, Casuo tossed out 16,000.
Negreanu took a sip of water and swished it around in his mouth.
"I don't think I'm going to fold," Negreanu said as he talked out the possibilities. "But I just won these fair and square."
He eventually called and turned over K?10? for a pair of kings. Casuo showed A?7? for ace-high and Negreanu took the pot.
