Alex ��JinYang�� Butcher has claimed the most recent title of the partypoker US Network Online Players Choice Series, topping a field of 883 entries in Event #3: $12K GTD Mega Tuesday 1/2 Price NLH 6-Max.
The tournament far exceeded expectations as 609 players were registered at the start of play with that number gradually building until the 883 total entries became official.
That total number of entries completely obliterated the guarantee generating a $176,600 prize pool meaning, the top 112 finishers would get a piece of the pie with 242 players remaining.
After registration closed the virtual bodies fell at a rapid pace and after a few short levels, "XXESPIAXXX" was eliminated on the bubble, leaving the remaining players in the money.
From there, players started dropping by the wayside as Dan ��mj23style�� Sewnig (81st place - $402.64), Daniel ��leinad�� Buzgon (48th Place - $727.59), Brian ��TopCreature�� Sherrier (38th Place - $865.34), Josh ��layitdown08�� Rothberg (17th Place - $1,227.37), and Anthony "supremetny" Chin (11th Place - $2,022.07) all got a piece of the pie but fell short of the making final table.

"TheTerminator1" entered the final table with the chip lead while Butcher was hot on their tail sitting second in chips.
Butcher was the first to score a final table elimination after he won a race with ace-queen suited against "benedi27's" pocket nines. A few levels later saw Butcher continue with his elimaintion streak sending "pay4medsch00l" home in fifth place and then "flabbergast" in fourth place.
Butcher got a brief break from his elimination spree after "KeepDaChange" dropped "TheTerminator1" in third place, but they couldn't get catch a break in the heads-up battle and only lasted one short level before taking their exit in second place.

In Level 46 with blinds at 500,000/1,000,000/125,000, "KeepDaChange" was all in after a flop and was called by Alex ��JinYang�� Butcher.

Both players connected with the flop but Butcher was ahead with a top-pair of nines.
The turn was no help to "KeepDaChange" as they needed any seven or three to stay alive but the completed the board on the river and ended their tournament in second place for $20,309.
