Merrilees took awhile before checking from under the gun over to Lopez in the cutoff, who also took roughly a minute before checking back. Both players were hesitate to show but Lopez eventually tabled 
for ace-high and Merrilees looked at the board and back at his cards before turning over 
for a missed flush draw and also ace-high.
Lopez's kicker played to scoop the massive pot and inch closer to the chip lead.
"Good value," one tablemate said to Lopez as he stacked his chips.
Lopez laughed and jokingly replied "I would've called a jam."
