We saw Roberto Romanello with the cut of a dejected figure hovering around the payout desk. I'm no Sherlock but this signalled bad news to me, and I had to investigate.
Sure enough the former EPT Prague champion had just been eliminated. He three-bet Balazs Botond's open to 33,000 and then called off for 245,000 when the Hungarian shoved on him. It was a race as Botond had pocket fives to Romanelllo's ace-queen. The board bricked and another former champion was downed.
