Alfio Battisti raised from late position, and Giampiero Tanzi three-bet shoved for 45,900. Battisti -- known as "aLFiosNob" around these parts -- called off more than half his stack, turning up 
. Tanzi was working with 
, ahead but only barely.
The 
flop was a crusher for the at-risk player, and the turn 
changed nothing. Tanzi was able to re-suck on the river, though, and the 
drew a fist pump and a loud, "Si!"
Battisti is down to about 40,000 now, while Tanzi doubles up to the century mark, near as makes any difference.
