Steve Wilkie limped in from the hijack and saw Brian Leitch limp in behind from the button. Mike Itoafa completed his small blind and Rich Dixon put out a raise to 4,200. Only Wilkie called to take action heads up postflop.
The flop came and both players checked. Dixon bet 4,600 on the turn
and Wilkie called. The river came
and Dixon bet another 8,000.
Wilkie thought for a bit, saying that he wanted to look up Dixon's bet. He spoke about having a busted flush draw but still kept wanting to call. Eventually, decided to toss his cards into the muck.
As Dixon was collecting the pot, he remarked upon Wilkie's commentary, saying that he did not have a flush draw. Wilkie corrected him, saying that he was talking about his own hand. He added that he had a high card in there as well, which was what made him want to call. Nonetheless, he chose to and Dixon won the hand sans showdown.
