Welcome to Day 1a of the 2019 888poker LIVE London ��1,100 Main Event
The 888poker LIVE series returns to the place where it all started back in January 2015 at the Aspers Casino in Westfield Stratford London. Terry Jordon was the first 888poker LIVE Local London champion after taking down the inaugural ��220 Main Event when he came out on top of a field of 609 entries, defeating local legend Ali Zihni in heads-up.
Since then, 888poker LIVE has returned to the Aspers Casino for the flagship festival and the Local Series every year and previous London Main Event champions include Ka Li in 2016, Tom Hall in 2017 and James Williams in 2018. Williams came out on top of a field of 656 entries and defeated Derek Lawless to claim the lion's share of the ��649,440 prize pool, taking home ��121,000 and a package for the 2019 WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas.
The fourth edition of the 888poker LIVE ��1,100 Main Event in London comes with a guaranteed prize pool of ��500,000 and the package for the 2020 WSOP Main Event worth $12,500. Several 888poker ambassadors such as Sofia Lovgren, Vivian Saliba, Martin Jacobson, Chris Moorman, Kara Scott, and Ana Marquez will be taking part in the festival.
There are five starting days in total and all of them play 11 levels on their respective flight. The first four starting days feature levels of 40 minutes each while the turbo heat 1e is the only one with a level duration of 20 minutes. As of Day 2, the blind levels increase to 60 minutes each until the conclusion of the tournament.
