Table Of Contents
The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) festival at the Turning Stone Resort Casino will kick off in Verona, New York on March 13.
The festival starts with Event #1: $400 No-Limit Hold'em 30K Opener at 11:00 a.m. on the 13th. It builds to the $1,700 Main Event which has three Day 1 flights from March 20 to 22. Then the festival wraps up on March 24 with the Event #18: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack.
Along the way, the festival will award 18 gold WSOPC rings and at least $2,630,000 in tournament prize pool guarantees.
Top Tourneys At The WSOP Circuit Turning Stone

The big event of the festival is always the WSOP Circuit $1,700 Main Event. However, the rest of the schedule for the Turning Stone series — with one other exception — falls into the $300 to $600 range.
There are two $400 Seniors events for players aged 50 and up. Plus a $300 Ladies event and a pair of pot limit Omaha events (one vanilla, one hi-lo split). The rest of the schedule is made up of variations on the no limit hold'em tourney (6-max, bounty, rebuy, freezeout, etc...).
There will also be side events and satellites that will allow players to win a tournament seat for a fraction of the usual cost.
The Defending Champion

It has been almost a year since players last filed into the Turning Stone for a WSOPC event.
The previous WSOP Circuit Turning Stone $1,700 Main Event was held back in March 2024 and saw Ethan Bennett take on Kathrine Brandt heads up for the title.
Brandt and Bennett were the last two standing out of a big field of 1,188 players who collectively put together a prize pool of $1,808,924.
It will be an interesting marker of the state of New York live poker to see if the event can beat those numbers this year.

What's Next for the WSOPC?
Turning Stone plays host to the WSOPC from March 13 to 24. However, if you can't wait that long for the action, there are two WSOPC festivals already underway.
The WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Hammond comes to a close on March 10, while the WSOP Circuit Hard Rock Tulsa runs until March 17.
After the WSOP Circuit Turning Stone kicks off, the next WSOPC event will be the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Las Vegas — one of the bigger stops on the WSOPC calendar — which launches on March 20.
We will have recaps of each of the WSOP Circuit festivals as they finish here on PokerNews.
